Here is a list of the current IT Accessibility Liaisons (ITALs) on campus.

Being an IT Accessibility Liaison (ITAL) is an important role, and we are always looking for more people to serve as ITALs! It is not necessary to be an IT professional to be an ITAL, but it is important to be comfortable using and talking about the use of common technologies found on campus (e.g. web sites, the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDFs).

Liaisons are tasked with the following:

The University of Illinois has officially recognized the Digital Accessibility Policy (HR-86) for our campus. One of the initiatives helping to implement the policy is the IT Accessibility Liaison (ITAL) program. The purpose of this program is to establish point-people in all campus units to serve as resources for digital accessibility. The ITAL program is managed by the ADA IT Coordinator.
